It’s has been a minute so here we go…

1) If you reach out to someone and try to express your feelings, and somehow it goes sideways. You need to ask yourself, is this something you want to explore further or park it and carry on with life?
Learn how to set limits/boundaries/thresholds on what you will tolerate.
Example: If I say you have met my threshold, know that I am putting you on time out for a couple of days or longer. Depending on who you are; It might be a permanent status.

2) If you ask me about voting and I don’t offer my answer or opinion, it’s because I don’t feel like entertaining this conversation.
Example: Hey, so are you voting? Who are you voting for this election? I do not want to talk about this, and we need to change the subject or end the conversation.
Dictate what you are willing to discuss. If you are uncomfortable, then let the person know. If they insist on engaging in this conversation, well walk away.

3) It is ok to laugh at people, but not to their faces.
Example: You may get a call or text message that has you talking to yourself. Just laugh and let it go.

Somethings need to be said
